Clyde Campbell Beaver collection

This collection contains artifacts, papers, and photographs that belonged to Clyde Campbell Beaver from his time serving in the U.S. Army in the Corps of Engineers as a draftsman during World War II in the Pacific Theater.  The artifacts include his draftsman tools, jacket, camera, and Bronze Star.  The papers include official Army documents, newspaper clippings about Clyde, a personal letter to his wife, Adele Beaver, and a telegram.  The photographs include photographs of Clyde in the Philippines, photographs with his wife and mother, and photographs he took himself.

Paul Curtis Koerner collection

Scope and Contents The Paul Curtis Koerner Collection was donated by his daughter Judy Davis. The collection contains a variety of items, papers, and correspondence from Koerner's career as an Army Engineer in WWII. The collection contains his copy of the New Testament that he recieved while training at Camp Blanding, to his death certificate. Lyle Salisbury transcript

This collection contains a transcript of an oral history interview with Lyle Salisbury who served with the 537th Engineer Light Pontoon Company during World War II in the European Theater from 1944 to January 1946.

He describes seeing the small Regen and Cham concentration camps. He also discusses the camaraderie with German civilians after the war was better than it was with the French.
