They were used in connection with a voting study done by Elston Roady and Annie Mary Hartsfield of the Florida State University Institute for Social Research. Virgil Conner interview

Scope and Contents This collection contains a transcript of an interview with Virgil Conner, performed on April 24, 1973, by Clifton Paisley. During the interview, Mr. Connor discusses his early college education, his relationship with Doak Campbell, his political leanings and also his experience as an 85 year old graduate student at FSU in the 1970s. This interview was research material for the article "A Graduate Student at Eighty-Five" published in Research in Review in 1973. A copy of that issue is included with the transcript.
