The Lee Bowen Collection contains Bowen's broadcast notebooks, game scorecards, game statistics charts, player statistics notebooks, and memorabilia documenting the broadcast career at Florida State University of a leading collegiate sportscaster and baseball statistician. It is a significant resource for researchers studying collegiate baseball broadcasting and history.

Scope and Contents This collection contains various materials related to Lula Elnora Alice Hamilton DeGraff. Included is a photographs of Lula E. A. H. DeGraff, her marriage certificate to Mark DeGraff, and a duplicate of her family record. There is a M. A. Certificate for Lula Hamilton DeGraff, dated July 18, 1924. There is a University of Iowa Certificate stating that she has completed requirements of course in Public School Music at the New School of Methods, dated July 3, 1914. A Certificate of Lula Hamilton from Kirksville Public School, Kirksville, Missouri, states that she has completed the Grammar Department there, and is dated April 18, 1907. Typed drafts, handwritten notes, newspaper clippings, event programs, and note cards documenting sermons written and delivered by Milton S. Carothers, as well as his career at Florida State University.

Some sermons were later collected in Letters & Lessons of Faith and More Letters & Lessons of Faith.

The letter was written on genuine birch bark by Mrs. S. L. Cawthon, October 2, 1914, while on vacation at Springfield, Vermont, and was addressed to "My Dear Girls." The letter is quite legible and contains some excellent descriptions of the areas in Vermont where she was vacationing.
