Scope and Contents
The collection includes newspaper clippings of articles written by Nunnally. Articles include topics related to her departure from Vienna (and return after the war) as well as her family’s experience during Kristallnacht. She also wrote of her memory of D-Day and V-E Day. A few photographs are included with the articles of her and her family.

Biographical or Historical Information
Frances Nunnally (born Franziska Huppert) was born in Vienna, Austria to a Jewish family, and left for England in May 1939 at age 16. Nunnally joined the ATS (Auxiliary Territorial Service) in November 1941, providing meals for British troops. She later moved to the United States and wrote about her memory of these events 50 years later.
