This oral history interview transcript of Sergeant James H. Hinson, Jr. details his experiences during World War II with the 132nd Ordnance Maintenance Company, 11th Tank Battalion in the United States Army, in the European Theater of Operations. Biographical or Historical Information
James H. Hinson, Jr. was born in Dayton, Tennessee on March 3, 1925. He finished high school in Atlanta, GA and was drafted into the U.S. Army. He was inducted at Fort McPherson in Georgia as a part of the 132nd Ordnance Maintenance and 11th Tank Battalion.
