Scope and Contents
Newspapers, writings, manuals, reports, yearbooks, and related materials. This collecion is primarily comprised of student newspapers, student writings, teacher's materials, yearbooks and other materials. The student writings cover topics such as Antarctica, levys and war. Teacher's materials include science manuals, reports, policies, meeting materials, and curriculum reports. Other subjects covered by the collection include: Future Homemakers of America, Christmas songs, arithmetic, social sciences, and health and safety.

Biographical or Historical Information
The Florida State University School is a project school created by Florida State University, serving grades K-12. In 1857, it was founded as the Primary Department of The Florida Institute. In 1919, it was dubbed "The Model School." In 1922, HighSchool grades were added. In 1924 it became "The Demonstration School." In 1927, it was accredited by the State Department of Education, and christened "Florida High."
