This collection relates to Lieutenant Clarence H. Ratliff who served in the United States Navy during World War II and his wife Elizabeth P. Ratliff who served in the Women’s Army Auxiliary Corps for almost 7 years. This collection contains military documents, photograph negatives, and miscellaneous documents related to their service.

Biographical / Historical
Lieutenant Clarence H. Ratliff was born on December 1st, 1914 in Jasper, Florida. He entered active duty on December 30, 1941 where he served in the U.S. Navy. Following his service, he owned Ratliff Motor Company in Live Oak, Florida. Clarence Ratliff passed away on February 9, 1999 at the age of 84. He is buried at Live Oak Cemetery in Live Oak, Florida.
Elizabeth P. Ratliff was born on October 5th, 1916 in Wauchula, Florida. She served in the Women’s Army Auxiliary Corps for almost 7 years. She passed away on January 11th, 2005 at the age of 88. She is buried at the Live Oak Cemetery in Live Oak, Florida.
