Biographical Note

Joseph L. Wheeler held positions at many libraries, including Jacksonville (Florida) Public Library, 1911-1912; Los Angeles Public Library, 1912-1915; Youngstown (Ohio) Public Library, 1915-1926; Enoch Pratt Free Library, 1926-1945; and Castleton State College Library, 1969.

Wheeler worked as a library consultant from 1925 to 1970. He passed away on December 5, 1970.
