Biographical or Historical Information

Cleo Rainwater was born in Georgia in 1894. She received a B.S. in 1924 and an M.A. in 1927, both from George Peabody College of Education. She took additional hours at University of Iowa, George Peabody College and Florida State University. She was appointed in 1953 as an Associate Professor in Education at Florida State University. She was a member of A.A.U.W. and Delta Kappa Pi. She retired in 1960 and passed away in 1963.
