Scope and Contents
This collection was compiled by Edward McKenzie and includes a directory of New Hampshire Ex-POWs book. It is a boxed collection of approroximately 20 individual collections of American POWs who were interned at Stalag 17. The individual collections collectively consist of personal papers, transcripts, documents, photographs, and drawings relating to their experiences as prisoners of war.

Biographical or Historical Information
The materials contained within this box are from a variety of United States Army and Army Air Corps members, officers, enlisted soldiers. and air crews who were captured in the European Theater and sent to Stalag 17B as Prisoners of War. The collections include those belonging to Staff Sergeant Michael Colamonico, Doctor Barbara Stelzl-Marx, Joe Suss, and Rey McMann of the 92nd Bomb Group, Fletcher de Wolf, Marcus Davis, Grover Mullins, Helen Strong, Don Bevan, Sam Roland Magun, Lee Kessler, Ben Phelper, William Chapin, Sergeant Frank Grey, Glen Loveland, Ralph Lavoie, Bernard Hanover, Kenneth Kurtenback, Jerry Ferroggiaro, Lieutenant Louise Birch (Army Nurse Corps), Wilhelm Nowy, Robert Patterson, Colonel Delmar T. Spivey, Edward D. MacKenzie, John E. Wasch, Mark Curtis, Larry Dennis, and Nelson Crawford.
