Scope and Contents The Spessard Lindsey Holland collection consists primarily of the personal correspondence, photographs, campaign materials, individual files, Floridiana, and memorabilia such as various awards and certificates, plaques, and miscellaneous novelty items. The collection has materials dated from the 1890s to the early 1970s with the majority of the collection dated after the 1930s. Biographical materials on the former Governor and U.S. Senator can be found in this collection as well as various papers and correspondence during his terms in both of these offices. Scope and Contents

This collection contains research materials used by Martin Dyckman for his 2006 book about former Governor Leroy Collins titled Floridian of His Century. Research materials include speeches from Leroy Collins before he became governor; an interview transcript with Premier Khrushchev during Collins' trip to the Soviet Union; newspaper columns written by Collins for the St. Peterburg Times and transcripts and audio recordings of interviews conducted by Dyckman.

Scope and Contents The Thomas LeRoy Collins Papers, 1903-1991, largely document this prominent Florida statesman's post-Gubernatorial career (1961-1991). While these materials are predominantly from this period, there are also files from his earlier years as Florida Representative, Florida Senator, and Florida Governor. The collection includes campaign materials, correspondence, newsclippings, records from organizations in which he served, speeches, and press releases. Abstract

The collection includes correspondence, committee papers, legislative papers, and legal papers such as rulings, opinions, and papers concerning particular cases. Judge Walker serived as County Judge of Leon County and on the bench of the 2nd Judicial Circuit. The great majority of the papers in the collection cover the time period from the 1940s until the time of his death, September 16, 1974. The collection includes the papers of Judge Walker's father, Nat R. Walker.

Scope and Contents

This collection contains personal correspondence from 1922-1963, and research notes on Tallahassee education, the West Florida Seminary, the Florida State College for Women, and related topics. Also included are copies of a column in the Tallahassee Democrat entitled, "I remember ... in the Big Bend," and honorary awards. There are also notes on research for his book, Florida State College for Women: notes of the formative years. Additional subjects include Francis T. Dodd correspondence, Florida State University, Josephine White Dodd, Dorothy Dodd letters, William Faulkner, Tallahassee schools, and letters to Owen Rush.
