Scope and Contents This collection consists of twenty-three letters to Miss Jennie Smith written by A. S. Cameron, Julius E. Edmonds, J. E. Maddox, W. H. Horwood, and G. A. Weldon. All letters contain much information about army life, field action, and related topics. Various members of the "Whitesville Guards" or the "Whitesville Union Vols." are mentioned in these letters.
