Scope and Contents
This collection is comprised of permits to sell spirituous and other liquors, permits issued to a variety of people to pass and repass on specific dates or for specific periods of time, each signed by the Mayor, permits for balls and dances, permits to reside, city ordinances, and other related materials.
The party permits appear to be issued by persons related to or superior to the person named in the permit, allowing them to have a party or ball on a specified date and time.
