Cinema Promotional Materials
This collection contains cinema promotional materials in various formats, including press books, 33 1/3 and 45 records, cassette tapes of radio commercials and video tapes.
Each press book contains advertising material for the promotion of a particular film such as stories about the stars or production of the movie, actual layouts of various sizes, campaign plans, and related information. In size, the press books vary from a single page or sheet to a booklet of a dozen or more pages. Some contain various enclosures such as pictures and additional ad sheets.
The records consist of 33 1/3's and 45's which may contain several radio commercials of various lengths.

Civil War broadside
This item is a notice of authorization to receive into military service of the Confederate States, companies, battalions, or regiments within the territorial limits of Northwest Florida between the Suwannee and Choctawhatchee Rivers and 21 counties (listed) of Southern Georgia. The notice is signed by Howell Cobb, Brigadier General, Commanding District. The item is a printed page, approximately 4 1/2 x 7 1/2 inches, entitled: Head Quarters, District of Middle Florida, Quincy, January 28, 1863.

Claribel Jett collection of certificates
This collection contains three certificates. One is an admittance to the bar for James Henry Millican, dated February 8, 1943, Tallahassee, Florida. Another is a membership certificate for the American Legion for J. A. Grant, dated April 1, 1943. The final certificate is a membership certificate for the Imperial Council of the Ancient Arabic Order of the Nobles of the Mystic Shrine for Sylvester Alphonso Grant, dated March 11, 1924, Jacksonville, Florida.
Clement Acton Griscom Papers
These papers include a letter from Clement Acton Griscom to his son Lloyd, who served as a foreign diplomat to Japan in the early 1900s. Also included is a small Christmas gift card signed "From Bronson Winthrop," and a small envelope addressed to Col. Lloyd Griscom, care of Miss Griscom, Water Oak Plantation, Tallahassee, Florida. The fourth item in the collection is a letter from G. Leslie Isaac to "Col. Griscom" at Luna Plantation, Tallahassee, concerning a trip to a fair and a car purchase. Includes MSS 0-304.

Columbia County letter
This item is a letter in manuscript by A. J. T. Wright, Alligator, October 22, 1855, to Mr. T. W. Brevard, Comptroller, Tallahassee, Leon County, Florida, informing him that the vacancy in the Tax Collector office was occasioned by the resignation of William A. Sheffield, and not by his death. Attached to the letter is this note: "Lake City, known as Alligator before 1859, because of its proximity to an Indian village ruled by a Seminole chief of that name..."

Cromartie Land Records
Documentation of the land holdings of Alexander Cromartie (1807-1870) of Leon County, Florida. Includes an 1868 manuscript land indenture transferring two parcels of land to Cromartie's son, Alexander G. Cromartie; and an 1870 map by surveyor W. L. Robeson, detailing the division of Cromartie's 978 acres near Lake Iamonia after his death.

Dallas Wood Civil War Letter
This collection is comprised of a photostat of Wood's letter in duplicate. The letter is by Dallas Wood, Co. "K," 6th Fla. Vols, Finley's Brigade, dated Dalton, Georgia, December 25, 1863, to "Dear Sister." Dallas Wood's letter to his sister is chiefly a family letter written on Christmas day and deals only slightly with army life and the granting of furloughs. His reference to "the bloody struggle" was doubtless in anticipation of a forthcoming transfer to Virginia and Tennessee where Brig.-General Finley's Florida Infantry saw service during the following two years.
