Anne Levine Filardo served as a machinist at Ranger Aircraft and a teacher at Kaiser Swan Island Shipyard - Childcare Center. This collection contains letters, bulletins, pamphlets, newspapers, and photographs. The documents included contain information on nutritional health, the history of the child care center, activities for children during air raids, and consumer information related to war bond budgets and home economics.

Cay Hohmeister collection
This collection includes 2 American knitting pamphlets from between 1943 and 1945, titled "Knit for Victory" and "Practical, Warm Hand Knits for Service Men." Continued from World War I, the "Knit for Victory" campaign emphasized the contributions women on the homefront could make to the war effort. Pamphlets of patterns like these were available to provide instructions for women to knit socks, sweaters, hats, and other essentials to help soldiers stay warm overseas.

William Edward McKee Sr. collection
This collection relates to William Edward McKee Sr. who served as a sergeant with the 324th Squadron, 91st Heavy Bombardment Group, 8th Air Force in Europe during World War II. McKee Sr. was shot down along with the crew of the B-17 bomber on March 29, 1944. The entire crew survived and then became German prisoners of war at Luft Stalag 17B. Mckee Sr. received the Air Medal and Purple Heart Medal. This collection includes letters, documents, photographs, prisoner of war memorabilia, and memoirs.

This collection contains World War II locally published U.S. Navy Seabees news bulletins. which contain articles about the recruitment, expansion and war time activities of the Navy Construction Battalions, the CBs or Seabees.
