The 17th-20th Century Correspondence and Documents consists of letters, documents, and various forms of correspondence relating to notable names and celebrities from between 1618 and 1981.

Albert Waller Gilchrist Papers
The Gilchrist Papers are comprised of the official papers of Albert Waller Gilchrist, 20th Governor of Florida, as well as newspaper articles, military and state official documents, items pertaining to the naming of Gilchrist County, materials regarding educational institutions including Carolina Military Institute and West Point, personal correspondence, genealogical research, and papers pertaining to Gilchrist's estate and will.

Bessie Rumph Hiers Lux Collection
Bessie Rumph Hiers Lux (formerly Bessie Miller Rumph) was a Florida State College for Women student, class of 1943 (BA, Education). The items in the collection include papers related to her participation in the student organizations, student grade reports and other assorted student related ephemera and memorabilia. (See box list.)
Beth Moor Papers
The collection includes general correspondence of Beth Moor, newsclippings, photographs, and memorabilia of and about Beth Moor. A large part of this collection concerns former Florida Governor Spessard Holland as well as the Florida State College for Women (FSCW) and The Florida State University (FSU). Included in the papers are correspondence about Governor Holland, the FSU Alumni Association, and Alpha Delta Pi. Also includes photographs and memorabilia concerning Governor Holland, Beth Moor, and both FSCW and FSU.
Betty Lewis Harrison Collection
The collection contains a scrapbook and other items relating to life as a student at Florida State College for Women as well as papers relating to the Conradi Loan Scholarship Fund. (See box list.)
Beulah Pipkin Papers
The Beulah Pipkin papers include clippings, correspondence, and memorabilia. The clippings, dated from 1924 to 1985, concern Florida State University (FSU) history and include some from the Polk County Quarterly. Among the correspondence are letters from Ella Bisbee to Pipkin regarding a fifty year reunion class biography book and letter from FSU to Pipkin. The majority of the correspondence is from the 1970s. Included in the memorabilia is a citation from FSU and a letter from the director of the Alumni Association to Beulah Pipkin dated October 1969.
Beverly Jean Fogarty Smith Collection
Personal items of Florida State College for Women/Florida State University student Beverly Jean Fogarty Smith (formerly Beverly Jean Fogarty) (BA, Education, 1950). Items include freshman papers, programs, personal photographs, and assorted ephemera and memorabilia. She is the sister of Marjorie Fogarty Lee (Accession No. HP-2007-014). (See box list.)

Blue Ridge Institute for Southern Community Service Executives Records
This collection includes the proceedings of the annual Blue Ridge Institute, presentations that were not part of the proceedings but were presented at the Institute, programs, invitations, invitation lists, correspondence, background material, photographs and various related materials, including audio tapes and video tapes.
Hazel Louis Bowman collection
This collection relates to Hazel Louis Bowman who worked for the Signal Corps and lived in India with the American Red Cross for two years. Bowman's collection contains six full boxes, one oversize box, a phono records box, and two photograph boxes. Four of the boxes include letters written to and from Hazel to her parents, family, neighbors, and friends. The collection also contains an oral history transcript, newsletters and bulletins, American Red Cross publications, her diary, a book written by Bowman, photograph albums, and ephemera.
Brumby Family Papers
C. McDonald Campbell Collection
C. McDonald Campbell was a Florida College for Women student, class of 1935. The items in the collection relate to her 50 year reunion in 1985. (See box list.)
Carrie Forehand Crocker Collection
Personal items of Florida State College for Women student Carrie Forehand Crocker (formerly Carrie Lee Crocker) (BA, Home Economics, 1942). Items include papers and memorabilia related to her participation in student organizations, the Dining Room Girls, and assorted student related activities. (See box list.)
Catherine Fitzgerald Parramore gift
Collection includes letters with holograph poems, one of which was by Ernest Dowson. Newspaper clippings, newsletters and two pictures - one of Governor John W. Martin and one of Major John W. Tench.

The collection consists of a photograph of the first doctorate awarded by Florida State University, as well as an issue of the Florida Flambeau.
