Reubin Askew Student Memorabilia
The Reubin Askew Student Memorabilia documents his activities as a student in the late 1940s and as president of Florida State University's Student Government Association in 1951. Includes an FSU Student Honor Code pamphlet, "Honorbound," Askew's student government presidential campaign paper insert for badge, on which is written "Vote for Rube Askew for President U.G.A," and his Freshman Beanie, on which his nickname "Rube" is stitched.
Darwin Stapleton collection
This collection relates to Staff Sergeant Warren R. MacInnes (part of the 834th) in Italy. The box contains letters and photographs sent to him from his wife while he was stationed on the Italian front in Europe. In addition, there are periodicals and pamphlets related to the reintroduction of soldiers from the Italian front back into civilian life Stateside. This collection also contains documents related to Private Gerald Greenbaum who served with 1560th Service Unit, Medical Section-Station Complement, Camp Atterbury, Indiana.
Taylor-Tilden Collection
Publications, newsletters, correspondence and textile donated by Martha Tilden nee Taylor. Collection includes items belonging to and about her mother Elizabeth Taylor nee Byrd (FSCW 1926) and her daughter Evelyn Elizabeth Tilden (FSU 1994) as well as correspondence from several FSCW students to her father-in-law, Robert Tilden. The correspondences authored by Dottie or "DB" to Robert Tilden, could possibly be class of 1928 student, Doris Maye Bartlett from Winter Haven, Florida.
