Two typescript manuscripts of books later published by Viking Press. Greenbones (1969) is a typed early draft with no title page, apparently typed on the back of another (unidentified) manuscript. Walk Egypt (1961) is a typed draft with corrections, no title page.

This collection relates to Gretchen Marie F. and Leslie J. Vreeland who were civilian defense workers living in Hawaii from April 1944-July 1946 at Barber's Point Naval Air Station in Oahu. The collection includes documents, ephemera, artifacts, photographs, newspapers, and maps that document the Vreeland's time in Hawaii.

W. May Walker Papers
The collection includes correspondence, committee papers, legislative papers, and legal papers such as rulings, opinions, and papers concerning particular cases. Judge Walker serived as County Judge of Leon County and on the bench of the 2nd Judicial Circuit. The great majority of the papers in the collection cover the time period from the 1940s until the time of his death, September 16, 1974. The collection includes the papers of Judge Walker's father, Nat R. Walker.
James Woodrow Wade collection
This collection is related to James Woodrow Wade (US Army 65th Infantry Division, 265th Combat Engineers) and contains of documents, a photograph, and personal items related to Wade who served in the European Theater of Operations during World War II.
Marvin S. Waits collection
This collection relates to Marvin S. Waits who served with the 14th Air Force in China. He was enlisted from 1942-1945. This collection contains an interview with Waits with information about his experiences in China during the war, the censorship in the US Army, the terrors in the mission, and the relationship between soldiers and local people.
Hy Wakstein papers
Hy Wakstein was a Jewish American serviceman who reached the rank of Staff Sergeant with the 778th Anti-Aircraft-Automatic Weapons Battalion, Self Propelled, (served 1943-46) and discusses his experiences as an Army communications officer in the European theater of World War II in this oral history transcript. Wakstein participated in the Battle of the Bulge, and his division advanced further east into Germany than any other American division.

William G. Walker Jr. collection
This collection relates to Colonel William G. Walker Jr., and his service in the Army and Army Air Force during World War II in the European/Pacific Theater of Operation. The collection consists of a manuscript he wrote for his grandchildren describes his experiences in the during the war years and includes some photos of himself and aircrafts. He shares a timeline of his time in World War II, starting with his enlistment and training as a pilot shortly after the attack on Pearl Harbor. He also includes certain anecdotes of missions he carried out in Newfoundland and the Owi islands, including naming the specific aircrafts he used.
Wallace Reichelt papers
The collection of Wallace W. Reichelt contains an oral history transcript of an interview provided by the Reichelt Program for Oral History. The collection also contains a copy of "The Army and Navy Musician" Vol. 19, No. 5 (August - September 1945) and a scrapbook of photographs, documents, and ephemera, including postcards. There are over 450 black-and-white photographs from 1942 to 1945. These photographs relate to Reichelt's wartime experiences on the U.S. mainland and in Europe.
William H. Wallace collection
The William H. Wallace Collection was donated to Florida State University by Robin Wallace Turco in May 2015. The centerpiece of the Wallace Collection is a series of forty-six letters and postcards from Josette Asphiotis, a French penpal, to American airman William Wallace from 1944 to 1946.

Walter A. Foelker papers
This collection is comprised of letters from Walter A. Foelker written to his parents, siblings, and other family members during his time overseas during World War II. Many of the letters discuss everyday life on the Home Front as described by his family. Foelker served in the 44th Infantry Division. In this collection are also photocopies of photographs, a wedding announcement, and an obituary for Foelker.

Walter Phillips Collection
This collection includes a Japanse book, "Daitōa sensō hōdō shashinroku : Taishō kanpatsu 1 shūnen kinen", published by Tōkyō : Yomiuri Shinbunsha, Shōwa 17 [1942], which was discovered by Walter Phillips in a public school in the northern part of Tokyowhen he was stationed with the 517th Field Artillery Battalion during the Occupation of Japan. The book contains forty plate photographs which commemorated the first year of World War II with the United States.
Don Warner collection
This collection relates to Major Don Warner from his time i the 874th Airborne Aviation Engineers during World War II where he served as the Executive officer. The collection includes photographs (primarily of Camp Claiborne in Lousianna, Papua New Guinea, and the Philippines), newsletters, a small collection of maps, along with various saved booklets and documents primarily from the Pacific Theater.

Frank Watkins collection
This collection relates to Technical Sergeant Frank Watkins, who served with the 449th Bombardment Group, 15th Air Force, in Italy during World War II. The B-24 bomber on which Watkins was a crew was shot down over Regensburg, Germany. Watkins was captured and spent than 15 months as a prisoner of war. This collection includes mostly personal letters written to an aunt (1944-1946), from his time as a POW through his repatriation.
Richard Bruce Watkins papers
This collection relates to Richard Bruce Watkins who served two years in the Pacific Theater of Operations as a U.S. Marine platoon leader, then as a commander of the E Company, 2nd Battalion, 1st Marine Division at Cape Gloucester, Peleliu, and Okinawa. Immediately after the war in August 1945, Watkins also served in China. The collection contains a manuscript entitled "Brothers in Battle--One Marine's Account of War in the Pacific" written by Watkins that concerns his time in the Pacific Theater.

John A. Watson transcript
This collection relates to MSGT John A. Watson who served with G-2, HQ company of 1st U.S. Army. He participated in the D-Day landing on Omaha Beach on 6 June 1944. He landed at 0730 with advance party of Col. Dixon's staff. This collection contains an oral history transcript. This interview is part of the Reichelt Program Oral History interview program. It was conducted on 26 April 1999 by Robin Sellers at the home of Karen Watson Skilling, the veteran's daughter, in Tallahassee, FL.
