Taylor G. Burke, Jr. collection
This collection is centered around a U.S. Army Air Corps pilot in the 35th Squadron of the 64th Troop Carrier Group. He was involved in the European- African- Middle Eastern campaign in Rome, Italy and Operation Dragoon in Southern France. This collection contains special orders, yearbooks, certifications of flight training, letters between the pilot and his family and friends, photos from Italy, France, and Puerto Rico, portraits in uniform, pamphlet for soldiers describing the famous monuments and history of Rome, Italian theatre programs, flight logs, checks, manuals, and charts, an original personnel file, various pins and medals, and maps of the Mediterranean theatre.

Lawrence Burzynski collection
This collection relates to Lawrence Burzynski, who enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1939 and was discharged in 1946 with the rank of Chief Electricians Mate. This collection contains a compilation of entries from Burzynski's diary during his seven years in the Navy. The diary provides an account of nearly every facet of U.S. Navy life during WWII and provides testimony on key moments of the war, including the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.
Rowland G. Bush collection
This collection relates to Technician Fifth Grade Rowland G. Bush, who served as a medical corpsman with the 104th Infantry Division, and was killed in action on October 25, 1944. The collection contains his Purple Heart and Silver Star, as well as their accompanying certificates, a Western Union telegram notifying his mother of his death, condolence letters, correspondence requesting his body be moved from Belgium to California, photographs of Rowland and his family, and the 48-star flag from his burial service.

Robert L. and Virginia Butler papers
This collection relates to Corporal Robert L. Butler, who served with the U.S. Army Air Corps in the U.S., and his wife Virginia Butler. This collection contains letters sent between Robert and Virginia while he was training at six different locations from 1944 to 1945. Also included in the collection are letters to Robert from his mother Vedale Butler (née Irwin) and letters to Robert from his brother Charles. The letters are personal but some discuss Robert’s daily routine while in training. Virginia’s letters mostly discuss her day-to-day routine at home in Michigan and the lives of their friends and family.

Clifford Robert Cain papers
This collection contains the personal papers and memorabillia of Clifford Robert Cain (United States Navy's, Aviation Radioman First Class, Chief Petty Officer Electronicsman) including his aviator's log book, discharge papers, certificate of training completion, financial records, identification card, leatherbound service record case, and various documents from the Veteran's Administration. Cain served at Lakehurst Naval Air Station. He supported the Blimp-Zeppelin program.
George R. Cain collection
This collection relates to George R. Cain and his service as a communications officer in the 23rd Fighter Group, also known as the Flying Tigers, in China during World War II. The collection includes a variety of memorabilia, which spans from the beginning of George H. Cain's service in 1940 until his death in 2000. A few sources in the collection provide an overview of military service on the island of Hawaii. Others document his post-service work with his local Veterans of Foreign Wars Post.

Judie Campbell transcript
This collection relates to Judie Campbell who served in the U.S. Army with the 3104 General Quartermasters attached to the 450th Engineers in the European Theater of operations during World War II. This collection contains an oral history transcript where Campbell recounts his experiences in Liverpool, England, and throughout Europe as an African African. Campbell discusses desertion, his experiences being a squad leader, his experiences with European women, other soldiers who fathered children, and his experiences with race and racism.
