The collection consists of minutes from General Faculty meetings, recommendations of candidates for graduation, related memoranda, and faculty members' obituaries. The collection will be of interest to those researching issues of broad concern to the University in the time period covered, which includes the transition period of Florida State College for Women to the Florida State University.

Scope and Contents

The collection, donated by Jack Crothers to Heritage Protocol, consists primarily of ephemera relating to Florida State sports teams, especially football. The collection includes pennants, a variety of ticket stubs spanning much of the history of Florida State football, and pompons for every ACC team as of 2004. Other items include a jacket acquired from a Seminole Indian reservation and a program for the 1964 commencement ceremony at Florida State University.

Scope and Contents The collection includes pins relating to Janet Wells' involvement in FSCW athletics, the Esterens (the honor society for the Evens), and the FSU Garnet Key Honor Society. The collection also features the L. Janet Wells Scrapbook, which contains photographs and ephemeral items and documents relating to Janet Wells' time as a student at Florida State College for Women. Scope and Contents The collection features items relating to clubs and organizations that Peggy Barker Teague was involved with during her years at Florida State College for Women, especially the Spirogira honor society, Tarpon Club, and the College Government Association. This includes newspaper clippings, ephemeral documents, and two scrapbooks containing similar documents and items. The largest item is a pillow with the Spirogira skull and cross bones.
