Scope and Contents

The collection includes stories, serial rights, radio rights and scripts, and lyrics written by Bertie Badger Moyers. The radio and serial rights and scripts form the bulk of the collection and date from the early 1920s. Also included, is one book entitled Motion Picture Studio Directory and Trade Annual, in which there is an entry for Ms. Moyers on page 324.

Scope and Contents The David Kirby Rare Book Collection contains literature, poetry, chapbooks, and literary magazines from the 19th, 20th, and 21st century. The collection includes first edition, inscribed, and autographed volumes. Authors and poets present in the collection include Janet Burroway, Rudyard Kipling, H.E. Bates, Bin Ramke, and Thomas Hardy, as well as a run of Apalachee Review (originally Apalachee Quarterly) from 1973-1987. The collection also contains letters written to David Kirby from 1967-2016 by authors and poets including Joyce Carol Oates, Leon Edel, and Bruce Jay Friedman. Abstract

The collection contains correspondence between Rabindranath Tagore and Dr. Arthur and Mayce Seymour, as well as other friends and family. Also included in the collection are biographical materials related to Tagore's life in both India and the United States. Tagore's writings are included in the collection with works of literary criticism and analysis of his writing. The collection also contains artwork by the Tagores and photographs.

Scope and Contents Materials related to Stephen Graham, including a large collection of photographs, biographical materials, diaries and journals about his travels and experiences, articles and writings, samples of his poetry, art prints, and original artwork. Artifacts of interest are a Kodak box camera in a leather case, a vintage Cuban cigar box, Spanish lesson tapes and a tape recording of Persephone by Igor Stravinski. Subjects and persons of significance to the collection include: Marion Hay, Susil Gupta, John F. Ward, Orthodox Churches, air raid diaries and wartime radio show transcripts from World War II, blacks in Chicago, students, Joseph Epstein, the Balkans, Florida State University, Russia,...
