Edward J. Cavanary collection
This collection pertains to Edward J. Cavanary who served in the U.S. Army as an Adjutant in the 7th Field Hospital during WWII. This collection contains a photographic copy of a scrapbook, as well as photographs, postcards, playbills, letters, ticket stubs, flyers, newspaper clippings, pamphlets, drawings, maps and a book of true experiences of members of the 7th Field Hospital written by John Kidda and Fred Marston.

J. S. Lester Plantation Papers
The J.S. Lester Plantation Papers include an 1895 doctor's bill, a transmittal letter, and a 4-page list of receipts (1868) for money received by fourteen ex-slaves; the plantation was located in Leon County, Fla. Also known as MSS 0-167.
Palmer Family papers
The collection contains materials about the history of the Palmer family in Halifax County, Virginia, poetry of Mary Bebecca Gassaway Palmer, and an issue of the Florida Medical Association's journal, with an article by Theresa Yaeger Palmer and Hugh Archer Palmer about physicians as a family tradition. There is a Civil War history by Mrs. Clarence W. Maxwell that mentions Dr. T. M. Palmer. There are newspaper clippings about Mary Martha Reid, a friend of Dr. Thomas Palmer, dated September 29, 1968. There are also letters from John C. Hill to Dr. Palmer at the Florida State Hospital, from Richmond, Virginia. Some of these materials are photocopies of a typescript or manuscript.
