This collection relates to Hazel Louis Bowman who worked for the Signal Corps and lived in India with the American Red Cross for two years. Bowman's collection contains six full boxes, one oversize box, a phono records box, and two photograph boxes. Four of the boxes include letters written to and from Hazel to her parents, family, neighbors, and friends. The collection also contains an oral history transcript, newsletters and bulletins, American Red Cross publications, her diary, a book written by Bowman, photograph albums, and ephemera.

This collection relates to Melvin Brown who served in the U.S. Army from 1941 to 1945 in the European Theatre. This collection contains an oral history transcript detailing his service and life after the war.

The materials included in this collection are numerous photographs (loose and in photobook form) covering Eugene Jackson's training to service in Belgium; several captured German Army items, his uniform ribbons and patches plus many other mementos from his time in Europe during his service.

Scope and Contents The collection includes Betty Lou Whittle Joanos's personal items acquired during her studies at Florida State University. These items includes a scrap book and other miscellaneous items. The collection also includes FSU and FSCW items collected by Betty Lou and Jim Joanos. These items include postcards, graduation invitations, university publications, and artifacts such as FSCW silverware and dinnerware. Content Description

This collection relates to Richard Knight who served in the U.S. Army in the 11th and 5th Infantry Divisions in the European Theater during World War II. This collection contains an oral history transcript where Knight discusses his service in Iceland, Ireland, and France. He also discusses his experience as a prisoner of war in the 12A work camp which was liberated by the Russians.

The collection of Alfred E. Kozlowski contains a photocopy of a brief unit history of the United States Army 473rd Infantry Regiment entitled "Italy 1945" and newspaper clippings from the Chicago Tribune on April 14, 1997, regarding the 10th Mountain Division.
