Abstract The John MacKay Shaw Collection consists of the Childhood in Poetry Collection and other materials he collected that relate to the six themes that are evident throughout the Collection: bibliography, biography, children, collecting, publishing, and writing. These other materials include articles, audiovisual materials, biographical materials, catalogs, correspondence, literary materials, notes, photographs, programs, and publications documenting his personal, business, and collecting activities.

Scope and Contents This collection primarily relates to Lieutenant Colonel Walter R. Stokes who served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in a weapons training section at Camp Luna, NM. The collection also relates to the uncle of Walter R. Stokes,  Harry Keeler Stokes, who served as the bank manager of Citizens' Bank of Clermont, FL. The collection consists of letters and envelopes written from soldiers serving in World War II to a bank president in Clermont, Florida. The collection also contains World War II period empty envelopes and letters from the stamp collection of Walter R. Stokes.

Scope and Contents The Theodore Harrington Collection contains items gathered by Theodore Harrington's mother and pertain to his time as an airman on the home front during World War II. The majority of the collection centers around his years of service in the Army Air Corps, from 1944-1945. Contained in the collection are folders with material created by Harrington or those around him, including letters, journal and memoir entries, and photographs. The letters are primarily from Harrington to either friends or his parents. The photographs feature servicemen posing with women or are of Harrington's family. The remainder of the collection includes newspaper clippings, church bulletins, postcards,...
