This collection relates to Angie Croy and her father, Aviation Machinist's Mate Felder Lang Howell, who was killed in a car accident while on duty at Corry Field in Pensacola, Florida. The collection consists of two scrapbooks from World War II, one belonging to Angie Croy, the other assembled by her mother. The scrapbooks include photographs, greeting cards, newspapers, and magazine clippings. The collection also includes letters, telegrams, certificates, and military documents all pertaining to Howell and his family. Artifacts include jewelry, a gold star flag, a floral arrangement ribbon, and a medal awarded posthumously.

Scope and Contents This collection contains a selection of business letters that serve as examples of early business letterheads from various places in Florida. They are quite elaborate and contain pictures, maps and extensive advertising. They are from different towns and cities in Florida and date from 1879-1896. The letters are mostly to W.D. Bloxham and W.D. Barnes, both comptrollers for the state of Florida. Barnes was comptroller from 1881-1890 and Bloxham from 1890-1897. Scope and Contents This collection contains manuscript sermons from Pensacola, Florida, dating 1832-1839. There are nine sermons by an unknown minister, and one pamphlet, number 280, entitled, Don't unchain the tiger, published by the American Tract Society. Seven of the sermons are titled for Second, Fourth, Sixth, Seventh, Tenth, Fourteenth, and Sixteenth Sunday after Trinity, and one sermon is entitled, Various ways in which men are converted, second sermon on the subject. Pensacola imprints and land grants

Scope and Contents This collection of documents is from the large collection of papers of the British army paymaster's office which was in the possession of the Manchester autograph dealer, John Gray Bell, in 1857, and which was bought by Sir Thomas Phillips. It has been supposed that the documents were removed from Pensacola following the surrender of the town to Galvez on May 8, 1781. This collection contains 103 land grants issued in Pensacola, Florida, during the administration of Governor Peter Chester, each document signed by both he and Elias Durnford. 101 of the documents are printed forms filled out in manuscript, and two are entirely in manuscript.
