This collection consists of business papers of the Florida State University Credit Union, dating 1954 to 1972. Included are audits, meeting minutes, annual reports, documents regarding the Board of Directors, the constitution and by-laws, budget materials, correspondence, financial and statistical reports, membership data, pensions, and other related materials.

Scope and Contents The Lewis Bank papers are an extensive collection of banking records and papers pertaining to the Lewis family's banking enterprises in Tallahassee. These materials give insight into the economic evolution of the Tallahassee community by the administrative operation of State and University in which agriculture is of secondary importance. Subjects covered by the collection include: banks in New York City, Atlanta, Georgia, Savannah, Georgia, and Tallahassee, Florida; cork industry; Florida State Troops; G. E. Twenty-six fragments of papyrus with Greek text. Sixteen fragments are known to be orders to bankers to pay out various sums.

Scope and Contents

This collection primarily relates to Lieutenant Colonel Walter R. Stokes who served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in a weapons training section at Camp Luna, NM. The collection also relates to the uncle of Walter R. Stokes,  Harry Keeler Stokes, who served as the bank manager of Citizens' Bank of Clermont, FL. The collection consists of letters and envelopes written from soldiers serving in World War II to a bank president in Clermont, Florida. The collection also contains World War II period empty envelopes and letters from the stamp collection of Walter R. Stokes.
