Abstract Charlotte Mansfield enlisted in the Women’s Army Auxiliary Corps (W.A.A.C.) in 1942 to pursue work in photograph processing for the military. She was part of the first all-women graduating class from Lowry Field Photo School in Colorado, where she was trained to be a photo technician that developed primarily aerial shots in photography labs. Mansfield was stationed at various locations throughout the United States before being transferred to lab work overseas in England and Germany. First Sergeant Charles H. Martin Served with the 3848th Quartermaster Truck Company in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater for 16 months as a clerk. The collection includes Martin's three honorable discharge certificates, Enlisted Reserve Corps Qualification and Availability Questionnaire, and Separation Qualification Record. Also within this collection is Martin's personal copy of photograph album "A Yank's Memories of Calcutta" by Clyde Waddell. This album includes captioned photographs of important buildings, streets, and religious culture of the citizens of Calcutta, India.

Milton J. Rosen Photographs

This collection includes photographs taken in the Philippines during the later years of WWII. The photographs were taken by Milton J. Rosen and the 2766 Photomapping Battalion, 25th Engineers. These photos were taken over the course of a year from 1945-1946. They include buildings, streets, daily life (of both the soldiers and citizens), Army vehicles, and other landmarks of the Philippines. The collection also includes a photograph of General Eisenhower and General Styer. The photographs are centralized around Manila and Banguio. Several landmarks make reoccuring appearances, such as the Chinese Cemetery, the Jewish Cemetery, the Roosevelt Club, and the Pasig River.

The Paul K. Dougherty Collection includes photographs, documents, and various artifacts Dougherty obtained while in Germany. His collection contains rare original German propaganda publications such as Deutschland Erwach and Adolf Hitler. Also included in the collection is a personal photograph album that belonged to Nazi official and founder of the anti-Semitic newspaper Der Stürmer, Julius Streicher. Other items included are Nazi Party flags/fabrics, Paul K. Dougherty’s camera, and camera accessories.
