Scope and Contents Items related to Florida State University student (BS, Physical Education, 1918) and professor (1918-1958) Dr. Katherine W. Montgomery. Items include her mortar board and tassel, two photographs (1918 and later undated), coin award (to "Miss Kate"), Red Cross award, unidentified award ("Lingiaden, 27/7-13/8, 1949"), a necklace with AAHPER ("American Association for Health, Physical Education, and Recreation") charm, FSU Garnet Key and ribbon, and number "28" arm band. The mortar board and tassel were later worn by FSU professor, Dr. Frances "Frankie" Hall (BS, Physical Education, 1946) in academic processions until the end of her association with FSU in 1969. Personal items of Florida State University student Marjorie Fogarty Lee (formerly Marjorie Nelle Fogarty), (AB, Library Science, 1952). Items include her papers related to her participation in the Flying High Circus Band and the Marching Chiefs, her FSU identification cards, and assorted ephemera and memorabilia.
