Reubin Askew Papers
The collection was given by Reubin O'Donovan Askew in 2008. It contains materials related to his time serving in the Florida House of Representatives, Florida State Senate, and as Governor of Florida. Included in the collection are campaign files, correspondence, newspaper articles, photographs, audiovisual materials, memorabilia, and copies of speeches. Additionally, there are records documenting his 1988 Presidential bid, as well as other materials relating to his life after his service as a Florida public official. Also included in the collection are the personal papers of his wife, Donna Lou Harper Askew.
Seminary West of the Suwannee Receipts
Consists of drafts from the Seminary West of the Suwanne River. From 1899 to 1901. Includes a draft to the First National Bank of Tallahassee, Florida, an itemized disbursement schedule, and a report of Treasurer of Dormitories, Arthur Williams, to President A. A. Murphree.
Tallahassee Literary Club Records
Papers include programs of the Tallahassee Literary Club, a typed study of these programs, the constitution and by-laws of the club, minutes of meetings, book reviews, correspondence, and historical papers dealing with the founding and organization of the club.
Warren Fish Company Records
Accounting journals, cash books, cash journals, checkbook stubs, daybooks, delivery records, fish checkbook stubs, fish sales, fish journals, fish receipt books, ship account books, ship supply transfer records, trial balances, and details on various accounts held by the Baylen Street Wharf Company, which was later absorbed by the Warren Fish Company.
