Clarke M. Brandt collection
The collection of Clarke M. Brandt contains an oral history transcript and various publications about army life during World War II. In it are examples such as George (Bob) Caron who was a tail gunner on the "Enola Gay" B-29 Bomber. The oral history includes Caron's eyewitness account of the bomb being dropped on Hiroshima. Also included are pamphlets and newsletters including "War Buddies," which covers the relationship between a soldier and his canine companion through his years as a member of the US Marine Corps. "War Buddies" is written by Earle Welch and Dick Roberts.
Donald Preston Ward papers
This collection contains Donald Preston Ward's letters, postcards, and miltary documents. Ward served with the 40th Heavy Bombardment Squadron, 20th Air Force during World War II.
George R. Caron Collection
This collection contains an oral history transcript of an interview provided by the Reichelt Program for Oral History. Technical Sergeant Bob Caron was the tail gunner on the B-29, "Enola Gay". The transcript covers his training missions, conditions on the plane during the journey, and his reaction to the bomb and its effects.
Joseph F. Dunn collection
This collection contains the official orders and other documents related to the service John F. Dunn who served as a pilot with the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II and his postwar service with Strategic Air Command and in Vietnam. The collection contains little personal correspondence, but does include photographs of Dunn’s career and aerial maps of Japan from 1945. A set of maps of Japan also make up the collection along with a number of medals awarded to Dunn.

Ronald Morgan papers
This collection contains letters of personal correspondence written by Ronald Morgan, who served with the 11th Airborne Division in the Pacific Theater during World War II. He saw action in Luzon and Okinawa and was among the first wave of American soldiers to enter Japan. The collection also contains two artifacts, an 11th Airborne patch and Morgan's Staff Sergeant patch.
