Florida State College for Women Alumnae Association Award of Honor Programs

Scope and Contents The Florida State College for Women Alumnae Association Award of Honor programs document the first and second ceremonies conferring this award on May 23, 1936 and May 27, 1937. The programs contain pictures of the award, a description of its history and purpose, the speech given by each guest speaker, and a list of the award recipients for each year with brief biographical sketches.

Each program was part of a published series (for 1936, it was the Florida State College for Women Bulletin, Vol. XXIX, No. 4, Part 1; for 1937 it was the Florida State College for Women Bulletin, Vol. XXX, December, 1937, No. 4).

The box contains letters and photographs sent to him from his wife while he was stationed on the Italian front in Europe.
