This collection contains a transcript of an interview conducted with Stanley and Elsie Davis on June 12, 2000. Stanley Davis served in the U.S. Army in the Military Railway Service in the European Theater during World War II.  The collection also contains 6 photographs, a photocopy of Stanley and Elsie's marriage certificate, and a copy of Kaiserzeit: Journal of the Imperial German Military Collector’s Association vol. III, summer 1974.

This collection relates to James R. Green, a private. The collection contains an official spiral-bound photo album chronicling the installation of military motor vehicle assembly plants in Algiers by American soldiers, then transferred to the French. Also included is a letter summarizing the contents of the book and multiple copies of a commendation Private Green received for his work in Algiers from the French Army in thanks for his service with Company F, 2nd Battalion of the 302nd Ordnance Assembly Group.

Scope and Contents The letters in the Frank E. Murray Collection categorize and depict the adolescent and enlisted experience of aspiring Navy pilots who trained in Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Naval Air Technical Training in Memphis, and flight training in Corpus Christi and Kingsville during the latter half of the Second World War. Brief descriptions of Boot Camp life in Jacksonville, Ground training and radio/radar ordinance in Memphis, and flying in Corpus Christi define the majority of Murray's experience before transferring to San Diego as the war was coming to a close. John B. Sozzio papers

This collection relates to Technical Sergeant John B. Sozzio who served with the Transportation Corps, 9th Traffic Regulation Group, in the European Theater during World War II. Sozzio was awarded the Bronze Star medal for his actions during the Ardennes offensive in December 1944 through January 1945. The collection includes a handwritten daily railway log of activities that was maintained by Sozzio, memoirs, photographs, handwritten notes, and military-related documents.
