Scope and Contents The collection includes personal correspondence, classroom notes, and handouts, newspaper clippings and information about the travel agency Hay and her husband owned and operated in the 1930s. Included in the collection are also the papers of the Philosophy of Education Society Papers. The Philosophy of Education Society was organized in 1942. Its primary objectives were to advance and improve teaching in the Philosophy of Education, to cultivate fruitful relationships between workers in general philosophy and workers in philosophy of education, and to encourage promising young students in the field of philosophy of education.
